* Create a graphic in Photoshop or any other professional imaging software
* Participate effectively in the web development team
* Have an understanding of how to create a Flash authoring software used to create animation programs)
* Understand and implement web standards
* Have an understanding of Search Engine Optimization
* Have an understanding of typography, graphics and color theory
* Understand user needs and usability testing
* Have the ability to analyze the target market
* Understand the cross-browser problems and how to fix them
* A great web designer also has the knowledge coding languages such as:
* C + +, Python, Java, JavaScript, Cold Fusion, SQL, PHP
Professional web design has become important in recent years. A few years ago it was thought that a visitor to the site took about 8 seconds to decide to suspend the site or click the Back button.
