This type of marketing is accomplished by pushing information outward to electronic devices. This could be such things such as RSS feeds, other web feeds, email newsletters, text messaging, and a lot more. The methods never end because wise entrepreneurs are always coming up with more ways to reach the consumers they seek.

What are the Advantages of Digital Marketing?

The advantages of digital marketing as compared to traditional marketing methodologies is nearly so enormous and paradox, it is difficult to fathom. Traditional marketing methods were limited due to the capacity to reach only a limited spectrum of society. Traditional marketing includes such things as:

•    Print – newspaper, magazine, flyers, etc.
•    Newsletters, billboards, other advertisements
•    Television via show spots, commercials, etc.
•    Business partnership advertisements for products and services
•    Endorsements

These methods were limited by:

•    Money resources – print, endorsements, television are all expensive
•    Audience reach – the audience of even the Super Bowl is nothing as compared to the world wide web
•    Demographics – methods limited by age, gender, interests, etc.

Digital marketing is fairly inexpensive and very nearly free as compared to the traditional advertising methods. The World Wide Web itself reaches more billions of individuals, households, and businesses than is truly comprehendible. The cost to span these multi-billions of consumers and potentially reach sales up in the multi-thousands or millions of dollars, or more is minimal when compared to anything ever heard of before.
So let’s think about the specific advantages.

•    Larger audience
•    Larger earning potential
•    Increased media presentation (more ways to reach them)
•    Easy increased marketability (affiliates, social media, etc.)
•    And the list goes on

So basically, the advantages of digital marketing are nearly endless. The only thing that is limiting about this new age phenomenon is your imagination and motivation.
