What type of goods are these?
These goods are categorized into different types. They can prove to be fatal if not handled with special care. They can be different gases, poison, radioactive goods, explosives, combustibles, corrosive materials, flammable liquid, oxidizers, combustibles and flammable solid, fuels, destructive and toxic chemicals such as sulfuric acid and a lot more. These materials are very injurious and destructive and they should be handled properly as they might lead to death, if proper care is not taken. So you need to be very cautious regarding their transport.
Hazard classification of dangerous goods is very vital so as to ensure security. Therefore you need to identify these materials correctly. Hence, these dangerous goods are given certain codes of identification. Such codes are of two kinds. They are number codes and color codes. The color codes symbolize the nature of these goods. As for example, the color red indicates flame risks. Color blue indicates hazards of health and white color symbolizes hazards which are of special kinds.
The number codes is also interesting. This particular Hazard classification refers the degree of risks or hazards of materials like- the minimum hazard degree is given the number 0, and dangerous goods with the highest degree of hazard is indicated by the number 4.

It has been proved that Hazard classification is very necessary as they are transported worldwide. Transportation of dangerous goods is very injurious as anything can take place irrespective of time. So they are regulated under government transportation offices like the Department of transit and transportation. This department has certain terms and conditions regarding transportation of these goods. Some goods require special permits and approval for getting transported.
The professionals who are dealing with this type of work should undergo a proper training course since, if they handle the materials without proper training, it will be very dangerous and fatal to them. Such training safeguards the environment and human beings from the ill-effects of dangerous materials. With the training the individuals become aware of the safety measures that are beneficial in case of any calamity.
