Company praised the benefits of pure water distillers as method of cleaning and removal of pollutants with help of filters. Today many of them struggle against filter to remove up to 99% of chemical and microbiological elements in water.

As we know that not all the water purification systems are created equally. So it is more important to know about the properties of any particular water treatment unit before investing the money and time. Mostly two common water purification systems are used to remove specific contaminants, first one is water softeners and second one is water distillers.
Water Softeners
Mainly, water softeners are responsible for removing positively charged calcium and magnesium ions from hard water by replacing them with sodium ions. According to a scientific fact the hard water not causes any types of health issues. Mostly hard water causes the scale or white mineral on copper pipes, glasses, sinks, and bathtubs. Another fact with the hard water is that soaps and detergents are not working effectively (difficult to get a good). In a water softener, the difficult calcium and magnesium ions in hard water come into contact with a porous resin layered with sodium ions. The calcium and magnesium join to the resin, free sodium ions into the water. Sometimes, the water softener flushes itself with saltwater solution to renew the sodium coating on the resin and remove magnesium and calcium from the system.
Water Distillers
Water purification system of water distillers are depends on boiling process. Into water distillers, the organic and inorganic contaminants, raw materials, pathogens, and particulate stuff are removed by a boiling process. A boiling tank is used to boil the water or water vapor formation and the boiling tank is connected with an adjacent tank where the vapor compressed back to a liquid as it comes into contact with the cooling coil. Distillation does not remove volatile organic contaminants with a lower boiling point than water. On the other hand, many of water distillers contain carbon filters that remove unstable organics, chlorine, and unwanted tastes and odors.
