This visa allows people to visit Australia for holidays or vacation, visit family and friends. This visa can be used for other short-term non-work purposes including study for less than three months.

This visa is for all passport holders who:
outside Australia and want to apply for a visa to visit Australia
Australia and would like to extend my stay as a tourist.

Some tourists may also use the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) or eVisitor.
