4G LTE – Customers in the United States can expect fast download speeds of 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband coverage areas.

We already showed you Novatel's new 4620L Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot for Verizon, but the company also has the new ZTE EuFi890 review on display, which is a far less sexy offering.

From the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Verizon Wireless and ZTE today announced the Verizon Jetpack – ZTE EuFi890. Developed by ZTE, the Jetpack is a Global Ready 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot. Harnessing the power of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, the Jetpack allows customers to share blazing fast internet connectivity with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices. The Jetpack will be in the Verizon booth and ZTE booth.

The compact Jetpack comes equipped with an OLED screen and interactive keypad to help manage connections and settings and to display data usage alerts. Consumers and international business travelers alike can enjoy Web access in more than 205 countries, including more than 125 with 3G speeds, on their Wi-Fi-enabled devices using the Jetpack to watch movies, listen to music and conduct business. Verizon Wireless leads the way in 4G with the fastest and most reliable 4G network in the United States, covering more than 200 million people in 190 markets.

This Jetpack has a much larger footprint than the Novatel version, and I was surprised at how large the 3.49-inch square piece of hardware actually was in person. It resembles the Sprint Overdrive of yesteryear, though it's rounded and has signature Verizon red accents. It supports up to 10 simultaneous devices and runs on LTE, though it also has global capabilities for use abroad. I wasn't impressed with its painfully-dim OLED display for managing settings or its capacitive touch keys — both of which seem unnecessary on a device like a mobile hotspot. ZTE EuFi890 is the MiFi device for Verizon Wireless LTE 4G service. 

New 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot: the ZTE EuFi890, This mobile hotspot was introduced at CES 2012 along with the same device developed by Novatel dubbed Novatel Wireless MiFi 4620L Jetpack. It offer 4G cellular speed up to 12Mbps down and 5Mbps up, and is global-ready, which allows customers to use wireless data services in more than 205 countries .Both are work and support LTE band and also capable for internet access globally in more than 200 countries through it 2G and 3G network support.

ZTE EuFi890 mobile hotspot is a 4G LTE-capable mobile hotspot for Verizon Wireless. It measures 3.5 by 3.5 by 0.7 inches (HWD) and weighs 4.7 ounces and It comes equipped with an OLED screen that shows status and data usage. The device is equipped with an interactive keypad to help manage connections and settings and to display data usage alerts.

The Jetpack EuFi890 Unlocked can support up to 10 Wi-Fi devices simultaneously over 802.11b/g/n. Once connected, it can achieve download speeds averaging 5 to 12 megabits per second, and average upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps—provided you're in an LTE coverage area, of course. Otherwise, it rolls back to 3G. The Jetpack EuFi890 is also global ready, and works in 205 countries with the appropriate data plans. At least 125 of those countries support 3G speeds with this device, with quad-band EDGE and HSPA+ available as a fallback.
