Tata Motors is going to launch the Tata Nano diesel by the last quarter of 2013. Priced at Rs. 2.5 lakhs, this car is going to be the most economic car of the country.
The Nissan Sunny will be armed with a CVT automatic gearbox. However, its engine is not going to change. It will be the same 1.5-litre petrol engine.
Renault’s Scala will also have a new automatic gearbox. However, the CVT unit is same as the way it was when Sunny AT first launched in India.
Luxury car player like Audi is also coming up with S6. The engine is compatible with A6 and the upgraded version of S4.
Fiat will facelift Linea and launch it in the last quarter 2013. Its exterior will also have minor changes.
Jaguar is soon going to launch XJ Ultimate. It is a D+ segment car that comes in by the range of Rs. 1.2 crore.
Ford Fiesta has also undergone facelift. However it will invade the market by the last quarter of 2013. Moreover, its front is inspired by Aston Martin cars.
Honda City, one of the most popular brands of India will have 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine by the last quarter of the year. This will certainly boost the recent downward sales of Honda City.
Skoda will launch the new Skoda Octavia III. It will be more spacious than Laura, which it will ultimately replace.
Renault’s Duster will have a 4 wheel drive by the last quarter. It will come with 110 BHP diesel variant.
Thus, a number of new model cars are coming up in India and Indian car market will have a tough competition as many new cars in India are going to be launched or revamped. The customers need to be prudent at this juncture as many new car in India is launched. They should always analyze before buying a car as whether the car is really worthwhile or suitable to his needs or not.
