Outsourcing has become one among the most common words for this 21^st century. It is procedures were the companies outsource their business activities, which were initially performed within the organization. Recession which took place had its huge effect on developed countries, which has made companies to go for job cuts, demotion and pay cuts of employees. It has made many of the U.S citizen to change their careers, because whatever jobs were performed by them previously are now been handed over to people of outside countries.

Though the impact of recession was huge on western countries but it had opened number of jobs in India. Their loss has become the gain for India. When the question comes for outsourced jobs these are of basically of two types, one is of call center job and another is of programmers. But commonly known to us is a call center job. This is because many a times we have to make a call to customer care, credit card companies, and the people working in these centers are doing jobs which make us realize that many of the jobs are today outsourced to Indian companies. Language barrier could be one hurdle, but this problem could be solved by taking proper training. The accomplishment of technological advancement have made possible to communicate easily anywhere, resulting in development of virtual relations.

Another profession which is outsourced to Indian firms at a greater rate is of computer programming. India had a good experience of working in computer programming. Many of the big U.S companies go for outsourcing of their programming jobs to Indian firms, which have resulted in success. This could be done by companies in many forms, such as company could plan and manage its projects closely or either time they hand over all the task of planning and project management duties along with programming to Indian firms. It results in an advantage because the overall speed of the project completion will be at higher rate. The basic purpose of American companies to go for outsourcing is only cost. If the jobs are not outsourced, these companies have to bear huge labor cost, because the cost is very high in that country as compared to India. A comparison made in general makes clearer the fact that an experienced programmer in India will earn around approximate $10,000 annually as compared to the programmer from these developed countries whose earning will be annually around $ 50,000. So, definitely increased opportunities of such outsourcing jobs are prevailing in India now.

It’s also found that cost difference is less impressive in the call center workers, but still it’s considerable. To gain the distinct monetary benefit, many problems are tolerated by businesses which are driven by end result.  It’s always a debatable question whether outsourcing is fair or not, what outcome would be there of transferring all such jobs abroad and many such things are amongst the hot political topics these days. These questions will be persistent, but definitely outsourcing jobs have resulted for maximum employment opportunities in India.
