For a decade or so, due to the mass production of high performance permanent magnetic material ND-Fe-b and the suitable price, magnetic separating, as a less pollution or no pollution mineral processing technology, makes great contribution to research and develop new magnetic separating equipment. During this period, lump ore dry permanent magnetic separator and wet type permanent-magnet cylindrical separator develops faster. Owing to the formation of the magnetic system has been changed from the ferrite to the composite magnetic system with partly rare earth neodymium, or adopts the magnetic system with the whole ND-Fe-b magnetic materials, the technical performance of magnetic separating equipment is improved continually. For example, the maximum processing strength of the lump ore dry permanent magnetic separator has been raised from 75mm to over 350mm. Therefore, with the rapid development of magnetic separating equipment, a group of high-level, high-efficiency, weak-magnetic field and adapting to the Chinese context magnetic separating equipment will be emerging constantly, and will be widely used in industrial production.
