The Thamel Street and Freak Street are wonderful places for shopping and to see the modernized way of Nepal which really contrasts to the ancient temples that it houses.

Pokhara- the third largest city of the country and the threshold for most of the treks towards the Annapurna range this place is truly beautiful. The place is well known for the beautiful lakes that adorn the charm of the place. The Phewa, Rupa, Begnas and Dipang lakes are truly beautiful and pristine. Boating is a leisurely pastime activity that can be enjoyed on the lakes while soaking up the beauty of the place. Other places like the bat caves, Gupteswar Mahadev Cave, and Mahendra cave are also places that will arouse your interest here. There are two very special museums here i.e. the International mountain museum and the Gorkha Memorial museum. Activities that are found in this part of Nepal make one of the coolest places to visit in Nepal and some of them would be boating, adventurous white water rafting and paragliding. This place is a must visit place of Nepal.

Dharan- this place of Nepal is famed for its scenic beauty and picturesque views. It is a place that is known for its cleanliness too apart from the beauty it possesses. The places to visit here would be the holy temples of Dantakali, Budhasubba, Pindeshwori and Bishnu Paduka. Also challenge the white rapids of the Tamo River aboard a raft, paddling with all your might and overcome it.
