How to Take Good Digital Photos to Use the Correct Shooting Mode

One thing that most people who are into digital photography will never learn how to use a digital camera and its functions and settings. They pay for pictures that are just OK, as soon as the camera's automatic settings. If you want to learn how to make a good digital photos, then you need to understand the functions of a digital camera and how to use them. By learning what your camera can do and what settings you need to do some shooting conditions, you can turn your digital photos from simple snap shots a professional-looking artwork.


The first thing to do is to familiarize yourself with your digital camera's manual. All camera functions are listed and examples should be from different shooting conditions and appropriate settings that are required to take great digital photos. This will give you the basic functions and shooting modes and what they are used.

One feature is the "scene" or a SP with this camera. There are four positions for a video digital camera that has predefined settings when in automatic mode, and they are:

Portrait - One of the better shooting modes, taking portraits. Skin tones softened and nicely illustrated. Proper lighting and proper use of flash and red-eye reduction may actually accentuate the beauty of the subject.
