The first thing you need to think about is where you are going to stay. You might be lucky enough to arrive during a music or film festival, and they often have comedy festivals where local stand up comedians so their things and have everyone in hysterics for the entire evening. There are plenty choices for you when you go there and all you need to do a little exploring to find what are there.
