They also charge an annual fee that averages a hundred dollars, cash advances are billed an additional five dollar fee, in addition to interest; late fees start at 35 dollars, and are often higher. Despite the interest rates the cards can be useful for helping you establish a credit history and repairing your credit rating.
The Aspire visa has to make money one way or another. Every time you put money into the card or use it to withdraw cash you incur charges. The charges are also very prohibitive when you default on monthly payments. So it’s always important to read the fine prints before signing up for one.
However, due to an ongoing problem with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Aspire Visa is not currently available, and applications are not being processed.
