The NPE/iMod industrial computer, due to its enhanced architecture, can operate as a versatile automation controller. This module combines the advantages of a fully programmable and configurable PAC/CAC, which guarantees a quick start and a full use of the device possibilities without the need to use a complicated software. Due to the use of Linux as a fully configurable operating system, the NPE/iMod computer provides high efficiency and complete stability during the processes control. Such a solution enables integration of the device with complex systems e.g., by the possibility of writing your own applications or by using the iMod software, which is a tool for easy configuration.
Even the less advanced users can adjust the device to their needs and modify its functions if necessary - the use of the device is flexible, easy and natural. In addition, there are free packages which help to start with your own project. The user can fully automate the system control with the PLC functionality - NPE/iMod operates as a standard PLC controller. Programming is carried out in the Ladder Diagram (LL, LAD, LD), which makes the installation of the device in the system easier and faster. Apart from the operation as a typical PLC, the NPE/iMod controller can introduce the operation logic in the automation system in other ways.
In addition, the system operator has a complete control over the devices with a simple and easy to use Web interface - NXDynamics. Due to the use of certain modules, this interface combines the functionalities of a tool for configuration management, monitoring and control of the elements of the installation. The NPE/iMod device enables you to prepare a system visualisation directly on the website or through an external SCADA application or an HMI interface. In addition, you can access all the information and data from the sensors and devices connected to NPE/iMod through. The access levels are fully configurable. The NPE/iMod computer can fully monitor user’s work in the system. You can check who logged in at a certain time and which elements were modified.
