You've made up your mind to lose weight, a lot of it. You have tried many times in the past with little or no success. This time, however, you are determined to be one of those weight loss success stories you see on TV or in the magazine. You've made the best weight loss tips for a copy and now you're ready to give your overweight body for their money.

Weight loss is the most important thing . After all, we are the most overweight people in the world. We eat the maximum amount of junk food in any other society, even though some foreign countries begin to challenge us to this shameful name. Over the years you have watched myself cylinder from normal weight and 50 percent more than should be. It was so easy to spend the fat, you now face the difficult task of taking it off.

You have received advice from both well-meaning friend who says that to lose weight, the kind you want to lose, you will significantly reduce the amount of food you eat. You know it will be painful, but your friend's advice sounds reasonable, so you decide to follow that course. Unfortunately, the lack of food, too often a course of action people take when trying to lose weight. Their motives are less food entering the body, the less fat is stored.

Early in this weight loss strategy, it seems to work. Initially, during the first week, for example, you could lose as much as 10 or 12 pounds. You are so excited, and thank your friend for his advice. You are not, however, keep in mind that most (perhaps 75 percent) of the weight you have to give up is water. You are so excited, but also because if you lose that much weight so quickly in the first week to eat less, then you will eat even less this week and lose even more weight.

But there comes a point, and it does not require a lot of time if you are not losing weight, nevertheless, you are depriving yourself of food. Why is this happening?

The human body is a lot smarter than we credit it. The body has its own comfort zone, and when it is used to carry a large load of fat for a very long time, which becomes one of its comfort zone. When your body detects that it is lose weight fast, it immediately take a defensive stop loss.

Your body decides to save energy and attempting to stop the loss of body fat, lowers its metabolism. The result: your diet to lose weight comes an abrupt end up pleasing results. Some may try to trick your body by reducing the calorie intake. This will work for a short time, but again, your body will react defensively and end your weight again.

Many of these people even develop a condition called anorexia. Although they have become quite thin, they still see themselves as fat. It's not far from the truth, because even though they have lost weight, the body has suffered significant loss of muscle tissue and stored fat. People with anorexia nervosa may have a body fat percentage as high as 25 percent. These are very high.

Their self-administered weight loss program is not related to body fat issue. In fact, due to misguided information and primitive strategy for weight loss, the body is literally destroying itself from the inside out.
