That's already been more than a hundred years, as was found by an Italian archaeological expedition on the excavations of the palace on the acropolis of the ancient city of Phaistos on Crete, the famous drive that dates back to around 1600 BC during the heyday of the Minoan civilization. Front and back side of the Disk are covered with stamped marks, which form a spiral inscription.

They generally are not decrypted until now, despite the hard work of many researchers. But they have done a lot. There is no doubt the beginning of the text on side A and the continuation of his side in the direction of reading the text, namely, from right to left, from the edge to the center, the nature of syllabic writing, the determination of the mark 02 "head, adorned with feathers" as a determiner and Cretan origin of the Disk. However, the structure of the inscriptions are not considered, we have in mind the location of words against each other.

The question arises. Once the text of the unusual, and stamped, then there must be some kind of text written by hand, reading that syllable for syllable, picking up stamps, slow ... did the corresponding prints on clay ancient minoets "printer". What kind of this text?

The answer to this question we have got as a result of structuring the text of Phaistos Disk (reading from left to right). Groups of words and individual words in the text are arranged one under the other according to the symmetry principle. As a result, we have got inscriptions, which look like a two-sided poleaxes (two of which are two-blade, and another one is four-blade). Blades of poleaxes look like crescent moon. Therefore we have made quite probable assumption that Phaistos Disk is connected with the cults of the Moon and God of the Moon. Rulers revered God of the Moon by bringing animals in a victim (first of all bulls). Animals were killed and subsequently burnt on fire. This thought is confirmed with that fact that, as it is known, the Disk was found among ashes, black soil, and also a considerable quantity of bulls' scorched bones.

Text structure of Phaistos Disk, which has been identified by us, decisively proves once more that:

a) The text starts on side A and continues on side B, because on side B there are placed:

- remain of the main inscription of big poleaxe;

- two inscriptions of smaller poleaxes;

- short inscription of the "printer".

b) Decodings of the “centrists” (E. Meyer, V. Georgiev, Y. Otkupschikov, P. Oreshkin, G. Grinevich, A. Sherban etc.), who read the text on the both sides of the Disk from center to edge, mildly, are incorrect, because "printer" really could not start to stamp text of side A with sign 38 word A31, having previous two words B1 and B2 on side B in double-sided form (four-blade) poleaxe.

Mystery of the Phaistos Disk disclosed?

Text contents of this Disk - the rulers dedication to the high-god of the moon, copied from a labels, made in the form of three bilateral poleaxes, or from inscriptions directly on poleaxes. One of these poleaxes, the largest, four-blade may be used as a lunar calendar. The Disk itself - the moon during a full moon - a sort of portable version of the dedications and calendar.
